I've wanted to recover this hope chest I've had since I was a teenager. It was previously red. I was fascinated with red a few years ago. I had been looking for material to match my curtains and finally found this to my liking and it was in the "marked down not enough yardage bin" $4.
The point to this story is there is no point.
*tip- don't settle for some of the things in those bins. Most of the time you think it's pretty because it's marked down and you buy multiple colors thinking you're getting a really good deal. Take a friend, let her tell you, no. I got lucky on this one!
